Thanks to all of our customers, employees, volunteers, and reps for making Gravity Sports’ “Grand RE-Opening” on Saturday a success and tons-o-fun. We were very fortunate to have the weather cooperate, which made for a good time listening to “The Pork Fat Shims” out on the deck, as well as grilling up delicious sausages and playing Gravity Games on the lawn.
Special shout-out to Steve Stuebner for doing the book signing on his latest version of Mountain Biking in McCall, Steve & Kathy Muench of McCall Homes and Land for manning the BBQ and the Wheel-o-Deals, Ron & Carol Reagan for meeting and greeting, and of course Jim Boland for the tunes and good eats from Hog Heaven Sausage Works in Moscow, ID.

As of 10:30AM on Wednesday, it’s wet, rainy and 39 degrees. I didn’t move to McCall from Seattle to ride in these conditions. Unless the weather picks up dramatically, I suspect like last week, there won’t be a showing tonight. Stay tuned and call me at 634 1970 or the shop for more specifics.
I stand corrected. Evidently, I did move to McCall from Seattle to ride in these conditions. Four brave(?) souls (RC, Scott McKenzie, Dean and myself) took to the road Wednesday night for a little over an hour. We made it up to the snowmobile turnout on Warren Wagon before being driven back to town by icy rain. I guess it’s never too late to crack out the booties and full leg warmers.

OK gang, weather dependent, but we’re looking to kick off the first road ride of the season this Wednesday evening. We’re on our Summer shop hours, so we’re closing at 6:00. For those attending, let’s plan on rolling out at 6:30PM sharp.
