Team Member: Kalen Boland, Grease Monkey

Kalen was born and raised in Moscow, Idaho. His parents are native Idahoans too, that got him involved in many outdoor activities from a young age. Exploring Idaho as a family to recreate was a high priority to the Boland family. Through these adventures Kalen landed in McCall.

Kalen has had many activites that mean a lot to him, but his main passion is skiing. His father Jim taught him how to ski at 2 years old and has been his best ski partner ever since. With such a supportive family, Kalen soon got into backcountry skiing and mountain biking. And because his playground while growing up was the Idaho outdoors, he decided to follow his love for recreation through university and into a career. His passion for outdoor activities is only matched by his enjoyment of getting others involved in the same sports.
